Robert Franklin has joined international law firm Sullivan & Worcester as a senior counsel in its London project finance practice.

He makes the move from Clyde & Co in London.

A project finance lawyer with a particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, Franklin has broad experience advising sponsors, lenders, investors and public authorities in relation to infrastructure and energy projects.

He advises on a wide range of debt products and capital structures for both greenfield and brownfield assets, as well as other limited or non-recourse financing techniques and secured and unsecured corporate lending.

“With nearly 20 years’ experience advising sponsors, lenders, investors and others in relation to the development and implementation of projects, his practice will add real depth to our existing project finance capabilities, in particular in telecoms, energy and renewables,” says Geoff Wynne, head of Sullivan & Worcester’s London office.
