Simon Orchard has been appointed as managing director and head of project finance, shipping and structured finance within the loan markets business of Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS).

 

In his new role, he will be managing the bank’s growing portfolio of project finance business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

 

He moves from his previous position at BNP Paribas where he was head of ECEP (energy commodities, export and project) syndications in London. Over the last ten years, he had held a variety of positions at BNPP.

 

At RBS he will be reporting to Declan McGrath, head of loan capital markets, global banking and markets.
