Ex-Clyde & Co partner Philip Prowse has joined Holman Fenwick Willan’s (HFW) commodities practice as partner in its London office.

He is also joined by associate Jameel Tarmohamed who was in Prowse’s team at Clyde & Co.

Prowse has specialised in commodity trade finance for the last decade. He has worked across the full spectrum of trade finance arrangements, including syndicated facilities secured with assets in multiple jurisdictions, restructuring of loan portfolios, back-to-back and revolving finance arrangements, asset and pre-export financing, and reserve-based lending.

Richard Crump, HFW senior partner, comments on the hire: “I am delighted to welcome Philip to the firm. His trade finance expertise further strengthens our existing international commodities team and offers significant synergies with our market-leading physical commodities practice. We are excited by the opportunities that Philip’s experience provides us to extend our offering to clients.”
