Robert Parson has re-joined Clyde & Co as partner in its global trade finance group.

He joins from Reed Smith where he was a partner in the energy and natural resources group. Before that he spent six years at Clyde & Co.

Parson specialises in commodity and trade finance law, structuring deals and complex cross-border financing arrangements for major banks, traders and other participants in the global trade market.

Marko Kraljevic, partner at Clyde & Co, comments on the hire: “We’re delighted to welcome Robert back to Clyde & Co. He is a recognised market leader in his field and will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the firm.”

Parson adds: “I am very pleased to be returning to Clyde & Co and re-joining the firm’s leading global trade finance practice. The firm has grown significantly since I was here previously, it has an enviable international framework and depth of resource across trade and commodities, which means it is very well placed to continue to grow in this area and serve its clients effectively.”
