Geoffroy Dallemagne has been appointed deputy global head of the utilities sector within SG CIB’s corporate and institutions division. Based in Paris, he will report directly to Michel Chatain, head of the utilities sector.

The utilities sector encompasses: electricity generation; electricity and gas transmission, distribution and supply; water treatment and distribution; waste management and environment.

Dallemagne will be responsible for bringing value to the relationship with these clients and for providing them with a full array of services including equity and credit research, merger and acquisitions advice, debt and flow products offered by Société Générale.

Dallemagne has gained experience and knowledge of this sector through leading major finance transactions for utilities, notably in Italy with major acquitision and project financings for Edison and Edipower.

He was most recently managing director leading the strategic and acquisition finance team for corporates in London. He has actively participated in executing some of Europe’s largest transactions in which SG CIB was mandated lead arranger such as Pernod-Ricard and Italenergia.
