Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has announced the appointment of Lionel Taylor as head of trade solutions, within corporate banking services. Taylor will be based within the international product management team in London, with specific responsibility for currency lending and supply chain finance initiatives.

He brings 20 years of marketing experience for positioning and launching corporate financial services, developing channels to the market and establishing the brands, profiles and development of new products for a number of subsidiaries of major European and US financial institutions. Taylor has previously held positions at subsidiaries of Citibank and Fortis Bank.

Taylor will assume a similar role at RBS as head of trade solutions, reporting into Mark Davies, head of international product management.
