Trade Finance Corporation (TFC) has appointed Anthony Gilks as managing director. He will be responsible for the day to day management of TFC alongside the group chairman, but will also take on key business development projects.

Gilks has over 20 years experience debt origination, trade finance, branch management and credit.

He spent 17 years with HSBC, and held senior positions such as branch manager Indonesia, Regional Internal Audit Asia, corporate relationship management Hong Kong and Trade Finance management based in Hong Kong. He then headed up Corporate Banking at ANZ Banking Group in Hong Kong, before brief spells at GE Commercial Finance, Hong Kong and BayernLB in London.

Within the commodities team Jessica Gaisano will be joining the team from her previous role with Citi in the Philippines where she worked as an analyst in the regional compliance office. Gaisano will be working with Alice Siu in the commodities unit.

The non-commodities team will also see some changes with Kiera Ma working with Sam Zhang who will move over from TFC Capital.

TFC Capital has also appointed a new vice president to work alongside Holbein Sze. June Wong On Yuk will be joining the team next week. She has spent the last three years with Bank of China (Hong Kong) as a relationship manager covering Hong Kong West and Central Commercial Centre.

Within the team, Keith Davies will remain a senior advisor to TFC Capital through his role in our satellite office in Manila.
And finally TFC has selected a new group administration manager. Angie will be PA to the group chairman.
