Dominique Fraisse, previously Natixis’ global head of energy and commodities, has taken on a new title as global head of energy and natural resources.

The title change comes as a result of the renaming of Fraisse’s department in Natixis’ 2018-2020 strategic plan.

The new energy and natural resources department will work within the same remit as before, but will also cover natural resources, an area that used to be covered by the bank’s infrastructure department. The infrastructure department, however, will continue to be in charge of the implementation of project financings within this subsector.

Dominique Fraisse has held the position of global head of energy and commodities since 2013. He began his career in 1989 at Banque Française du Commerce Extérieur, where he most recently was head of Southeast Asia at the international division, and then moved to Natexis Banques Populaires in 1997. Here he held various senior roles before being appointed deputy head of global energy and commodities in 2007, following the bank’s merger with Ixis.
