UK insurance and reinsurance broker Miller has strengthened its trade credit capabilities with the appointment of Robert Michael.

Michael is a specialist in the structure and placement of trade credit risks. Over the course of a 17-year career he has worked with leading global companies across a range of sectors including financial institutions, pharmaceuticals, power and gas and energy and utilities.

Michael joins Miller from Marsh where he was responsible for new trade credit business development within the southern UK region. Before his position at Marsh he worked for GE Capital, Willis and Equifax.
