Lloyds Bank has appointed Gwynne Master as managing director, head of financial institutions (FI) and international, for its global transaction banking business, subject to regulatory requirements.

Master will join the bank in February from Standard Chartered, where she headed up the Europe and Americas FI business. She brings significant international experience through her time there and from previous roles at Barclays, developing a regional hub in Singapore and leading the bank’s Asia FI expansion.

This is a new role for Lloyds Bank, and Master will be accountable for bringing the previously separate FI and international businesses together.

“GTB’s international and FI offering is a key growth area for the bank and I look forward to taking the reins to lead colleagues and clients through such an exciting time of global change,” she says.
