Latiff leaves HSBC for DBS digital role
Raof Latiff is to join DBS as head of digital, in its wholesale and institutional banking group.
Latiff will join from HSBC on August 1. At HSBC he was most recently regional head of product, global liquidity and cash management for Asia, based in Hong Kong. Prior to this he held numerous roles at JP Morgan and Citi, based in Singapore.
He is also the co-founder of Hilo Online, a personal cloud-based digital wellness record management platform, based in Kuala Lumpur.
Lewis Sun will replace Latiff in his role at HSBC, with Sun’s current position as head of global liquidity and cash management for China being filled by Patrick Zhu. Zhu’s role as head of global liquidity and cash management for the Pearl River Delta region will be temporarily filled by Shannon Xu.
