David Rasquinha is the new managing director of the Export-Import Bank of India (India Exim).

He has been promoted from his previous role as deputy managing director, and has been with the national export credit agency (ECA) since 1985.

Rasquinha has replaced Yaduvendra Mathur in the position, who was appointed additional secretary of Niti Aayog, the government agency “for transforming India” earlier this year. Mathur had been at the helm for three years.

In Rasquinha’s time at India Exim, he has worked across the offering of export credit and multilateral financing products, and was involved in the consultancy process for the establishment of an ECA in the GCC.
