Louis Robinson, formerly trade sales head for corporate key account clients at HSBC, has moved from London to Dubai to head up the bank’s UAE and Mena global trade and receivables finance (GTRF) business development.

He reports to Kwabena Ayirebi, regional head of trade and receivables finance, Mena. Ayirebi took on the role in March 2015, replacing Tim Evans, who moved to Hong Kong to become HSBC’s regional head of middle market enterprises, Asia Pacific.

Robinson joined HSBC in May 2013 after three years as Emea trade and network origination head at RBS. He previously spent almost eight years at ABN Amro, as trade sales head for northern Europe.
