Jayant Rikhye has been named CEO for HSBC India, replacing Stuart Milne.

Rikhye will move from his current role as head of international for Asia Pacific in December. Milne, meanwhile, is to leave the bank, with a three-month sabbatical in the offing before announcing his next move.

Rikhye has been with HSBC since 1989, holding various roles within the bank in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the UAE.
