Finnfund, the Finnish development finance company that provides long-term risk capital for private projects in developing countries, has welcomed two staff changes.

Ritva Iittilinen has been appointed legal counsel. Before this Iittilinen worked in Savonlinna District Court. She has also worked in insurance companies such as Tapiola General Mutual Insurance and If P&C Insurance.

Furthermore, Tuomas Suurp has been appointed investment manager in the business development team. He will specialise in renewable energy projects. Previously he worked in the Finnish Carbon Procurement Programme (Finnder) in the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE).
