Boutique US firm Capital Business Credit (CBC) has hired Rosenthal and Rosenthal exec Charles Sharf to its New York offices.

Sharf joins CBC as executive vice-president and New York factoring portfolio manager.

He will be responsible for running the firm’s commercial services department in New York.

“We are thrilled to have such a respected leader in supply chain financing at the helm of our New York commercial services division,” says Andrew Tananbaum.

“We are confident that Charlie will help CBC further grow our customer base, bring new thinking and creativity to our team and attract new talent.”

Sharf moved to the firm from a senior vice-president position at factoring business Rosenthal and Rosenthal.
