Hans Egli is retiring on April 30 following more than 40 years of successful service with Atlantic Forfaiting Company, Zurich. He will continue to place his expertise at the disposal of the company as a future member of the board of directors.

 

Heading up the company’s management team as of May 1 will be new CEO Peter Dornauer and senior vice-president Martin Fankhauser.

 

Both have worked at management level for the company for over 10 years and can look back on long careers in export and trade finance.

 

At the beginning of May 2007, Luciano Bocci will join Atlantic Forfaiting as vice-president. His responsibilities will include new business acquisition in emerging markets as well as trading in forfaiting notes.

 

Bocci has held previous positions with Skandifinanz Bank, SFC and the Credit Suisse Group.

 

Atlantic Forfaiting will continue to focus on its core business of buying and trading trade receivables, granting import loans to banks in emerging markets and providing silent confirmations and payment guarantees without financing.
