Yu Jin Tay has joined DLA Piper as a partner in Singapore.

He joins the firm’s Asia Pacific litigation and regulatory practice and will co-chair its international arbitration practice.

Tay’s expertise is in international arbitration arising from mergers and acquisitions, joint venture, oil and gas, construction and general commercial disputes.

DLA Piper’s managing director of Asia Pacific Bob Charlton says: “Yu Jin is recognised as a top arbitration lawyer and we’re delighted that he is joining our growing Asia Pacific team. Our geographic coverage has provided an unparalleled platform for the growth of the international practice and we are one of the few firms to have a presence in key emerging markets.”

Saunders and Salomon add: “The addition of Yu Jin to the team further establishes our presence in the Singaporean and Asian markets and his significant experience and excellent reputation will be a boost to the global team as a whole.”
