Law firm Denton Wilde Sapte has opened its seventh Middle East office in Doha in Qatar. It has hired Leigh Hall as managing partner and appointed Safwan Moubaydeen to head up the Qatar office.

Hall is moving from his previous position as a partner at the US law firm Patton Boggs, based in Qatar. He has been working from Qatar since 2003, and has experience of working in the Middle East since 1995.

Moubaydeen is also moving across from Patton Boggs after working for the firm for the past two years, as well as having a private practice in Doha and Amman. He will be joining Denton Wilde Sapte as Of Counsel.

The Doha office will be in the Qatar Financial Centre, and will be open for business upon completion of various regulatory issues. Denton Wilde Sapte will also be forming an association with Moubaydeen’s Jordanian practice in Amman.
