Klaus Merz has joined the export finance team of Credit Suisse in Zurich as vice-president reporting to Oskar Feusi, global head of export finance. Merz will be responsible for Central and Eastern European markets servicing customers in the field of export and structured trade finance.

He has more than 15 years of experience in export and trade finance gained through various positions held with international banks as well as industrial companies. Before joining Credit Suisse, Merz worked for Bayerische Landesbank in the structured finance team. Before that, he spent eight years at ABB Structured Finance heading the transportation team after starting his career with positions held at KfW Kreditanstalt r Wiederaufbau and Dresdner Bank.
