Morgan McKenney has been named head of cash management for Citi’s treasury and trade solutions (TTS) team in Asia Pacific.

She will be responsible for the management of payments, receivables, commercial cards, channel and enterprise services. She will also manage the TTS innovation lab in Singapore.

McKenney reports to Amol Gupte, Asia Pacific head of TTS and Ebru Pakcan, global head of payments and receivables. She is based in Hong Kong, and succeeds Tony McLaughlin, who moves to the Emea department.

She has been with the bank for 13 years in a variety of roles. Most recently, she was global business head for cross-border payments, based in London. She has also acted as chief operating officer for TTS and transaction services, Emea, chief financial officer for transaction services globally and chief of staff for the chief operating officer in New York.

Gupte says: “As digitisation and fintech continue to drive new client needs and business models, we see many opportunities to bring our cash management business to new heights. Morgan’s deep understanding of the global payments space and extensive experience from a diverse range of roles across geographies, functions and businesses will be crucial in driving our cash management business forward.”
