BTMU has named Buhei Yoshida as the new regional head of Asia Pacific in its ECA, commodities and trade finance department.

Yoshida takes over the position from Masashi Onodera, who is leaving Singapore for Bangkok at the end of the month, but will remain working at the bank as deputy general manager for that branch.

Onodera tells GTR: “It has been a great pleasure for me to have this precious opportunity to pursue ECA and trade finance business by covering all over the Asian regions.”

Commenting on his replacement, Onodera adds: “Mr Yoshida has had wide experience in ECA finance, trade finance and corporate banking business both in Japan and in overseas markets. His overseas assignment includes New York, London and Hong Kong, and he has just been transferred to Singapore to take up my position.”
