HSBC has ramped up its commodity finance offering by recruiting Andrew Robison to join its commodities and structured trade finance group.

Robison is set to leave his current role at the London office of Banco Espirito Santo (BES) by the end of May.

He was a director of structured trade finance origination at the Portuguese bank.

He is due to start at HSBC in July.

He will be based in London and will be working with Jean-Francois Lambert, global head, sales and risk management, trade & supply chain.
