Nabil Frik has been appointed as British Arab Commercial Bank’s (BACB) head of Mena markets.

In his new role, Frik will be responsible for directing sales and executing the bank’s marketing strategy in the region. He will report to BACB CEO Andrew Martin.

“The move has been mainly motivated through a challenging role taking place within a well-established and recognised London bank serving the interests of those trading with Arab and African markets,” Frik tells GTR.

He previously worked for Qatar National Bank, where he was the regional transaction banking head for Europe. He has also held positions at Bank of Beirut, Europe Arab Bank, ING Barings Bank and Siemens Financial Services.

He started his new role on May 1.
