Steven Lotito has joined ANZ as regional head, commodity and trade finance for the Americas. He is responsible for defining and implementing a strategy for the international trade finance business across the Americas and to develop a platform for growth, which leverages ANZ’s strengths and global franchise.

Lotito has over 15 years experience in the trade finance business and joined ANZ from Absa Bank in New York where he was a director of structured trade and commodity finance.

He previously worked for Ecoban Finance with responsibility for its syndications business in the Americas. Before this he was with Phibro Inc, managing the trade finance portfolio. Lotito started his career with Chase Manhattan Bank in the North American trade sales team.

Lotito reports to Philip Gentry, global head of trade and transaction services in Melbourne.
