ABN Amro has hired Daniel Minzer as head of metals commodities, Americas, in the US.

Minzer has over a decade’s experience in banking and has previously held positions in the metals and mining teams of several global banks, including BNP Paribas and Macquarie.

In 2008, he took up the position of Americas head of export and agency finance, at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).

In his new role, Minzer will be responsible for overseeing territories across the US and Latin America. He will report to head of energy, commodities and transportation at ABN Amro, Uryashi Zutshi.

Commenting on Minzer’s appointment, Zutshi tell GTR: “With Daniel’s background, he will help us further develop our metals franchise across the Americas.”
