JP Morgan Chase, a full-service provider of cash management, trade finance and treasury solutions, has rolled out an important new enhancement to its eServe Global Client Care platform. eServe for Secure Collections offers JP Morgan Chase Deposit Services clients real-time, online access to view check images and the status of collections items, providing greater efficiency and convenience.

eServe for Secure Collections is available through JP Morgan Access, a secure internet gateway offering an integrated suite of global trust, custody, trade and cash management services. eServe solutions are also currently available for funds transfer, ACH and receivables transactions.

“eServe for Secure Collections is an important enhancement to our Client Care platform that allows customers to retrieve critical and time sensitive information, whether it is from a secure collections or a funds transfer perspective,” said Greg Murray, vice president and eCare services head for the Treasury Services unit of JP Morgan Chase. “This utility is intended to supplement, not replace, the service our clients receive from their Service Officers. It is a virtual extension of JP Morgan Chase’s commitment to delivering the highest level of personal service.”

The key benefits clients will gain through the adoption of eServe for Secure Collections include:

  •  Immediate, transparent access to status and images of check collection items
  •  Real-time Web-based event notifications in the form of acknowledgements, payment advices and dishonour advices
  •  Self-administration capabilities allowing clients’ security administrators to maintain users and grant entitlements online via the eServe User Administration feature
  •  Cross-product coverage providing Deposit Services clients with access to global clearing
“For our Deposit Services customers, whether they utilise our robust suite of offerings or just our Cash Letter products, eServe for Secure Collections is notable for its easily navigated Web access, as well as the efficiency it offers by streamlining the inquiry process,” says Lisa Robins, senior vice-president and global head of check deposit services for the Treasury Services unit of JP Morgan Chase. “In addition, eServe for Secure Collections provides clients with the convenience of 24/7 availability, along with an online audit trail and the highest level of security.”
