Bankgesellschaft Berlin and RZB as mandated lead arrangers have signed banks into a syndicated trade finance transaction for JSC Temirbank of Kazakhstan. Due to the syndication closing oversubscribed, the total amount was increased from US$20mn to US$21.5mn.

The purpose is to refinance export and import-related trade contracts of Temirbank’s customers.

Bank roles are as follows:

Mandated arrangers: RZB (US$4mn) and Bankgesellschaft Berlin (US$3mn). Co-arrangers: HVB (US$3mn). Lead manager: State Bank of India and Commerzbank (US$2mn). Managers: Mashreqbank (US$1.5mn), Adria Bank, Bank of New York, Bank of Overseas Chinese, Dresdner Bank, First International Merchant Bank and Union Bank of California (US$1mn).

The tenor is 364 days after signing. The margin is 2.70%. Participation amounts of US$1mn, US$2mn and US$3mn were offered at fee levels of 45bp, 55bp and 70bp flat respectively.
