NatWest has announced the provision of banking facilities and increased invoice financing facilities for silk design company, Robert Keyte Silks in the UK.

Based near Tunbridge Wells, Robert Keyte Silks deals with the design and export of silk cloth principally to Italian fashion houses. Once the design has been agreed, finished products are sent to Robert Keyte Silks for onward distribution to a number of high profile fashion contacts across Italy.

As the company deals with international markets and suppliers, RBS Invoice Finance has provided an invoice discounting line of £500,000 to increase the operational efficiency of its payment structure alongside more traditional overdraft and loan facilities.

In addition, an electronic payments system has been agreed upon to assist Robert Keyte with cash management.

Mike Batten, commercial manager for NatWest and Steve George from RBS Invoice Finance structured the deal and provided the additional funding. The transition to NatWest and the Invoice Finance package has been greatly welcomed by the company allowing them to concentrate on running the business more effectively.
