Alpha Bank (facility and documentation agent) and RZB as initial mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners have closed a two-year syndicated term loan facility for Finansbank (Romania).

The facility which was fully underwritten by the initial MLAs, was well received in the market and increased from €40mn to €60mn.

The margin is 1.05% per year.

There will be a bullet repayment.

Joining as MLAs were Egnatia Bank, Mashreqbank, National Bank of Greece, Standard Bank, Vakifbank International, Wachovia Bank.
Arrangers are Unicredito Group, Bayerische Hypo und Vereinsbank, Bank Austria Creditanstalt, UniCredito Italiano.

Commerzbank is lead manger, while American Express Bank GmbH and National Bank of Egypt UK are managers.

Registered in Romania, Finansbank (Romania) was originally established in December 1993 as Banca De Credit Industrial si Comercial. After the acquisition of the majority shares by Finansbank, the bank was renamed to Finansbank (Romania). The borrower operates under the laws of the National Bank of Romania and has a full banking licence.
