Turkiye Iş Bankasi AŞ (Işbank) has mandated a group of banks to arrange a one-year US$210mn syndicated term loan facility. Joint arrangers on the general syndication are: ABN Amro, Alpha Bank, American Express Bank GmbH, Arab Investment Company, Bank of New York, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Citigroup, CoBank, Commerzbank, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (acting through Dresdner Bank Luxembourg), Gulf Bank KSC, Gulf International Bank, HVB Group, Mashreqbank, Natexis Banques Populaires, RZB, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp Europe, UFJ Bank, Wachovia and West LB AG London.

The margin is 65bp per year.

Fees for co-arrangers are US$ 7.5mn 85bp flat; for lead managers, US$5mn 80bp flat; for managers US$2.5mn, 75bp flat.

Bookrunners are Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, HVB and UFJ.

Sumitomo Mitsui Europe is facility agent while UFJ is documentation and signing agent

Işbank is Turkey’s largest private bank in terms of total assets, shareholders” equity, loans and deposits.
