Gide Loyrette Nouel’s Hungary office has poached three staff from the same Budapest-based law firm as Gide continues its expansion in the region.

All three staff were hired from Lakatos, Koves and Partners, the successor of Clifford Chance’s Budapest operations.

Eszter Kamoscay-Berta joins the firm as the new head of projects and energy.

Kamoscay-Berta has a wealth of experience in the sector and was a senior associate specialising in projects, energy and infrastructure at Lakatos.

Levente Csengery moves to Gide as a senior associate in the litigation and dispute resolution department.

Finally, Gabriella Galik will join the corporate and M&A team.

The hires follow five Hungary appointments made throughout 2010 to the corporate and M&A, real estate, competition and regulatory and banking and finance departments.

“These hires illustrate our commitment to, and continued investment in, our offering in the region. We are delighted to welcome Eszter, Levente and Gabriella to the team,” says François d’Ornano, head of Gide Budapest
