GTR’s US Trade & Working Capital Conference returned to Chicago in June 2018, providing the ideal forum for US companies and financial service providers to meet and discuss the next steps for US trade and the evolution of the trade finance space.

2018’s meeting saw record attendance from across the trade sector, welcoming companies including Microsoft, Mars Inc, Caterpillar, Bunge, Olam, BP, Louis Dreyfus Commodities and IBM, trade and supply chain financing practitioners, credit risk mitigation experts and those tech companies leading the disruption of trade. A cutting edge programme, designed to drive cross-sector dialogue between audience and speakers, featured highlights including an ‘Institutional investment in trade finance’ workshop breakout, interactive showcase presentations and focused deal case studies.

A superb networking reception on board a boat cruise sailed delegates down the Chicago river and out onto lake Michigan to conclude another great event.

GTR Americas’ next stop is Mexico City for the Mexico Trade & Export Finance Conference 2018, taking place in October 2018. Join corporates, financiers, government bodies and more for deep insights into the latest issues on the impact of trade policy and global protectionism, regulatory reform, investment opportunities in key industrial sectors and the potential impact of Mexico’s 2018 general elections.

“Innovative and experienced speaker panels and a great networking opportunity. Overall a great event and looking forward to attending the next one. ”

HC Barke, Prudentia Trading
