Alternative financier Falcon Group has named two senior staff in Singapore.

Sankar Krishnan has been hired as business development manager. He joins from Noble Group, the troubled commodity trader, where he spent seven years in the commodity finance division. Before this he worked for the Indian bank ICICI.

Gaurav Sanan also joins as business development manager, having spent more than a decade with DBS Bank. Prior to this, he worked with Ernst & Young.

Both will be responsible for growing Falcon’s corporate business in India and Singapore, reporting to Andrew Church, head of business development for Asia.

Church says: “I am thrilled to welcome these two new hires who bring with them a wealth of knowledge, experience and contacts – all of which will be invaluable as we look to expand our product offering and grow our presence across Asia.”
