Boutique lender Legion Trade Finance has opened an office in Birmingham, its third UK premises.

The firm’s operations director Demetrios Hadjigeorgiou says: “Having a presence in Birmingham makes commercial sense and supports the firm’s strategy to have a UK-wide presence from which to deliver its funding solutions. Our expansion in the Midlands clearly shows our commitment to growth.”

The Birmingham office adds to the Henley-on-Thames and London bases the company has.

Legion Trade Finance offers structured finance including loans, suppliers’ credit and letters of credit. Its average deal size is between £100,000 and £2mn.
