David Berse has been appointed senior vice-president for supply chain finance at Citizens Bank.

Berse joined the lender on May 14 and is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He reports to Jonathan Heuser, head of trade and supply chain finance.

In the new role, Berse will be responsible for supply chain finance product origination, innovation and portfolio management.

Previously, Berse was managing director and head of financial institutions for North America at LiquidX. He has also held senior positions at Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan.
