RBS has made two senior changes to its trade and supply chain team.

Anil Walia has been named global head of supply chain finance. He was most recently head of trade and supply chain, UK and Emea at the bank. He joined from JP Morgan in 2002, where he was head of trade finance sales, Germany.

Walia will oversee the product management, advisory and programme divisions of RBS’s supply chain finance business.

Bert Schoen has been named global head of structured trade finance. He will manage the export finance and global commodity finance teams. He was most recently managing director in the CEE Emea debt origination team. Previously he held numerous roles at ABN Amro, after joining the Dutch bank in 1994.

Both Walia and Schoen will report to Anand Pande, global head of trade.
