National Australia Bank (NAB) has extended its reach to China by opening its first office in the country.

Based in Shanghai, the branch will provide support to Chinese institutional and corporate clients looking to operate or invest in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US, particularly in the energy, utilities, natural resources and agribusiness sectors.

The branch will be managed by NAB’s general manager and China banking and country head, Danny Armstrong.
