Ooi Chenn Siong has been named head of loan markets and syndication for BTMU in Asia, based in Singapore.

He will be responsible for project financing, securitisation, loan syndication and structured trade financing. He joins from the Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he worked for 22 years in the regional debt markets business.

He will also hold the title deputy general manager, and reports to Koichiro Oshima, executive director and general manager for Asian investment banking.
