Digitisation, regulation and standardisation – The implications for Africa

Trade digitisation has moved on apace, with the acceleratory impact of the pandemic on digital adoption widely acknowledged. Attitudes have changed amongst governments and private sector alike, but the challenges surrounding the development of the regulation, standardisation and interoperability necessary to enable the true global scaling of digital trade have gained sudden urgency.
