Wyelands Bank, the new UK bank for SMEs, has appointed Kevin Sullivan as a relationship manager in its working capital solutions team. It’s the third appointment to the team in the last few weeks.

Sullivan joins from Nucleus Commercial Finance, where he was a client director and helped build the asset-based lending offer and grow the business. He previously held senior portfolio and risk management roles at Lloyds Bank Commercial Finance and RBS.

At Wyelands Bank, Sullivan will focus on growing the bank’s asset-based lending offering, helping businesses access finance. Based in London, he is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and developing the team’s risk and relationship management capabilities.

In a statement, the bank says that his appointment is part of its strategy to help manufacturing and industrial businesses to trade and grow through the right combination of simple financial solutions.

“Kevin will help us continue to deliver innovative and high-quality financial solutions to small and medium businesses across the manufacturing supply chain,” says Ian Flaxman, Wyelands Bank’s managing director of working capital solutions, who joined the bank from HSBC in June last year.

Last month saw Kelvin Thomas and Henry Wheeler join the same team as regional directors.
