UK Export Finance (UKEF) has increased its regional team of specialist export finance advisors to 23, with nine new hires.

The nine appointees include six export finance advisors and three specialised advisors for medium-sized businesses (MSBs).

The export finance advisors are: James Bowker (East Sussex, Kent and West Sussex), Carol Harvey (Scotland), Anne Lockett (the Black Country, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire), Johanna McSweeney (Northamptonshire), Archana Singh (West London) and Paul Wright (East Greater Manchester, north and west Yorkshire).

The MSB advisors are: Jon Boyce (regional advisor to the North), Paul Callin (adviser to the Midlands, the West and Wales), and Ian Wallace (adviser to the South).

Commenting on the team’s on-going expansion, head of trade finance and insurance solutions at UKEF, Paul Croucher, says: “Having this specialist understanding locally based, where growing businesses can quickly access it, is what can help encourage exports.”
