Richard Hill of BAE Systems is the new chairman of the British Exporters Association (BEXA).

He replaces Sue Walton of Rolls-Royce Capital, who has left the market for greener fields to become chief executive of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

Hill had previously served as deputy to Walton.
