BNP Paribas is transferring Jean-Marc Bonnefous, global head of commodity derivatives from New York to London.

Over the past two years the commodity derivatives activity has experienced significant growth and is expected to continue further. Bonnefous “relocation will enable the firm to more effectively manage this globalisation and the future growth of the business across its three main operating hubs of London, New York and Singapore.

BNP Paribas’ commodity derivatives group is a leading provider of risk management services in the commodity industry for energy, base metals and bullion. Its activities cover a full range of over-the-counter derivatives product trading and listed commodity futures brokerage.

Bonnefous will report to Dominique Remy, global head of ECEP (energy, commodity, export, project).
