Yoshihiro Kubo has been appointed head of commodity and structured trade finance at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) in Tokyo. Kubo, previously trade head in London, is being replaced there by Hideyuki Nagahiro, previously head of commodity and structured trade finance at UFJ in Hong Kong.
Kubo’s role in Tokyo is a new one. The new merged bank has decided to promote commodity and structured trade finance business additionally from Tokyo.

Kubo’s responsibility will be to promote commodity and structured trade finance business in Asia and Japan.
