Tetsuya Senda has been appointed as global head of ECA, commodities and trade finance at Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU).

He will be responsible for the bank’s global ECA finance practice as well as commodities and structured trade finance. He started the role in February 2013.

Senda has been with BTMU since 1990. Prior to taking this position, he worked for 13 years in various areas of investment banking, including derivatives, syndication, capital markets and structured finance. From 2005 to 2010, he worked in ECA financing, covering Latin American transactions from New York. He now leads the global team of 140 staff, located in seven cities, namely Tokyo, London, New York, Sao Paolo, Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
