GTR has learned that Philipp Rosberg will re-join the German ECA’s executive team as chief operating officer later this year.

Rossberg is currently regional head of export and agency finance for Russia/CIS and Turkey at Citi, a position he has held for two years. He previously spent several years at JP Morgan as vice president of ECA advisory, establishing the firm’s export finance product capabilities across Emea.

The German ECA (Hermes) is jointly managed by EulerHermes and PwC. Rossberg is understood to be rejoining the PwC part of the consortium where he held a number of positions before entering the London banking market, including heading one of Hermes’ underwriting units.
