Angela Potter has joined Deutsche Bank on October 12 as managing director in the global transaction banking division. Based in London, Potter will directly report to Daniel Schmand, head of trade finance and cash management Emea. She will be focusing on strategic projects, including the bank’s country strategy.

She joins from Royal Bank of Scotland, where she held the position of head of UK transaction services since 2012. “With her longstanding expertise in banking and notably the transaction banking space, Angela is well positioned to provide a fresh perspective on our strategic business priorities,” writes Schmand in an internal email seen by GTR.
