PIB Insurance Brokers has expanded its trade credit, political risk and surety team with the appointment of Nicola Salmon as account executive.

In her new role, Salmon will provide insurance solutions to PIB’s growing portfolio of clients in the SME, corporate, commodity trade and financial institution sectors. She will be based in London but have an international remit.

Salmon joins with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, having previously held similar roles at Arthur J Gallagher, RK Harrison and Euler Hermes. Most recently, she worked as a trade credit/debtor protection manager at Ultimate Finance Group.

In a statement, the company says her appointment reflects its strategy to “deliver significant organic and acquisitive growth”.
