Veteran lawyer Nick Grandage has joined law firm Norton Rose’s London banking practice.

Grandage has taken up the role of structured trade and commodity finance partner, and will use his expertise in emerging market financings to strengthen Norton’s global plans.

He has acted for a number of international banks in UK and Asian markets, including over five years operating from Singapore and Hong Kong.

Grandage notes: “This is an incredibly exciting time to join. I’m greatly looking forward to playing my part in [Norton Rose’s] continued growth.”

Grandage was poached from a pre-SNR merged Denton Wilde Sapte where he was partner and co-head of the banking group.

Although his move comes only two weeks after SNR and Denton’s merge to form SNR Denton, GTR reported Grandage announced his move back in February.
